In this case it was just because of a Bad internet connection so when this Shoe last released in 2014 this was a Sneaker that I wanted more than anything Else and that's because holiday 11s were Just it back then and they still kind of Are but back in like the early 2010 Everyone wanted the breads or the cool Grays or the Legend Blues or whatever The shoe was dropping that year and for Me this was a shoe that I really really Wanted because I just hadn't really Picked up any other pairs of sneakers That year and this was the shoe that I Had been waiting all year for but the Day the shoe released I was on the train In New York City I'm not sure if it was A Long Island Railroad or the subway I Thought it was actually on Friday on the Way to work but I looked up the release Date of this shoe and apparently dropped On Saturday so it couldn't have been so It must have been the subway I don't Know where I was going or why I was on The train but the shoe released on Nike's website I was in the queue I was Good to go and right when I got through The queue it literally sold out in front Of my eyes which I'm sure has happened To all of us a million times but for me Because this was the main shoe that I Wanted all year I'm sure there was other Shoes that I wanted but this was the one That like I couldn't get my mind off of
And this was before YouTube before I Could really justify paying resale for Pairs of sneakers and this shoe was Selling for like $300 or 350 at the time I think at least in my size so it just Didn't make sense for me to buy it and I Kept saying to myself okay when the Price drops I'll pick it up and for the Next couple years it just didn't and I Couldn't ever really find a pair in my Size for a good price so I just never Got them and it's happened for me for Multiple pairs of shoes if you guys saw My unboxing video where I actually unbox This pair of sneakers right when I first Got them I tell the story of many pairs Of shoes that I tried to grab and by the Way you can check out that video through The link at the top of the screen but This is one of those pairs that I could Just never get over and I mean sure Since starting YouTube I've had multiple Chances to buy this shoe but I just Never did and so finally this year in 2024 it's back and I finally have my own Pair it is ironic that the reason I Didn't buy the shoe before is cuz I Didn't want to spend $300 on it uh and I Spent $680 on this pair to get it early But um we have it now and now I get to Share it with you guys however unlike The last release this shoe is most Likely going to be significantly more Widely available over the last couple
Years it looked like Jordan brand has Made the Air Jordan 11 their most widely Produced pair of the entire year and Because it's a pair of holiday 11s it Always sells out and so unlike 22-year-old Seth in 2014 32-year-old Seth is probably going to double up on Thiss I don't even really wear Els that Much anymore but I still might though Just to write that wrong from 2014 but Speaking of the release this year's Holiday Jordan 11 the Jordan 11 Legend Blue 2024 is slated to release on December 14th for a retail price of $230 I was actually doing research for This video and I found a sneaker news Article from 2014 about the last legend Blu it released and they're like these Shoes are $200 it's one of the highest Priced Jordans ever people are losing Their minds and this pair is $230 the Prices have just gotten unbelievable but I guess inflation's gotten unbelievable So it's not unreasonable it just seems Very high and what's crazy is even at That price this shoe is still going to Sell out like no question in my mind Will there be pairs sitting in stores Sometimes probably I'm sure you'll be Able to find a couple pairs in your Local flip lockers for the next couple Days after the release maybe even week And there will definitely be returns at The Nike outlet like there have been for
Every other Air Jordan 11 releases so if You're trying to find a pair after the Release and you don't want to pay resale Which probably won't even be that high You could hit up the Nike outlet but I Still think the shoe will eventually Sell out even with the potentially Million pairs that Jordan brand releases And that's kind of wild to me because You don't see people wearing Air Jordan Els as much as they used to in fact There's a whole group of people who are Sneakerheads who won't even wear Air Jordan Els anymore they just feel like They're not it anymore which is wild as A huge fan of Air Jordan sneakers I just Don't get it I understand that this shoe Is not going to be 100% in fashion all The time but I mean there are still Sneaker heads out there who just won't Rock these and I got me thinking what do Sneakerheads actually think of this shoe So I took this shoe to the Apothecary Office the sock brand that I own to ask People who work there what their Opinions on it were this is a 2024 Release that comes out in December so It's a holiday relase yeah I like it I'm Wondering how this shoe will do in 2024 I agree I was thinking the same thing I Five six years ago that would have been Crazy people would kill each other for These like literally would you cop I Would cop just for like Nostalgia

In 2014 when they dropped no expensive Back then I overheard you guys talking About prices and for however much these Are going for I don't know I don't know If I could cop them for retail I'll give These a eight okay like you know if they Fell in my lap I would definitely keep Them I don't know if I would go out and Get them I don't know I still love it I'd still buy it for retail and I still Think the sneaker is going to sell out But now let's dig a little bit deeper Into the design of the Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue starting off around the toe Of the sneaker you have the iconic Patent leather and of course in this Colorway being an almost all white Colorway it comes in white and what I Love about these monochromatic pairs of Els is that even though you only really Have one color on the upper you still Get some nice contrast because of the Material differences the glossy patent Leather does this great job of cont Contrasting the semigloss leather on the Upper of the shoe it's subtle but it's Still got a pop I really dig it of Course the patent leather wraps all the Way around the bottom part of the shoe And as you move up on the sneaker you Get to this pretty smooth white leather Upper now the Jordan 11 colombias have Always sort of differed from the Standard Air Jordan 11s because they
Don't feature ballistic nylon as the Main material in the upper and instead You've got this sort of hard white Leather but I actually kind of dig this Material because it makes it feel like a More premium version of the shoe and for $230 it should that said you do still Have this ballistic nylon material on The tongue of the sneaker in fact the Tongue is basically your standard Air Jordan 11 tongue and like a standard Pair of elevs you've got this patch Running across the center of the tongue That reads Jordan Jumpman and this time Around it comes in a legend blue or a UNCC blue along the midfoot of the Sneaker you've got these iconic Air Jordan 11 straps that hold the giant White rope laes in place of course it Wouldn't be an Air Jordan 11 without the Rope laces and I've had pairs of 11s in The past where I switched out the laces And it just never looked right without The rope laces as we move towards the Ankle area of the shoe you've got this Stark contrast with the black sock liner That wraps all the way around the top of The ankle area and then rounding off the Inside of the shoe you've got a black Insole with Nike Air printed on the heel In white now I was actually really Interested to see when this shoe is Manufactured because there are the Manufacturing dates on the size tag of
The sneaker and I checked it out in the Unboxing video that I did a couple days Ago but I don't remember what they were Let me see so the new Air Jordan 11 Legend Blues were manufactured between February 21st 2024 and May 22nd 2024 so These have been done for a minute these Have been cooking for a while and They're done they're sitting out to Cool I guess I guess it doesn't really Matter but just in case you were Interested something that you might be Really interested about is the sizing And the fit and I'm happy to report that This shoe fits just like every other Pair of Air Jordan 11 mids at least for Me which is true to size and what's even Better news is that if you're not sure About your Air Jordan 11 size you should Be able to walk into a store try on a Pair in store before you buy it because There should be a lot of pairs available Don't quote me on that cuz it might not Happen maybe they sell out really Quickly but I wouldn't be surprised if You don't have that option though go True to size you should be okay or try On another pair of Air Jordan Els I Think the diffused blues that just Released are probably sitting right now You could try those on in store kind of Get a de for the Air Jordan 11 before You spend the $230 on this pair crazy How expensive these are it's wild I
Genuinely think resale is going to be Like 250 for these not 680 like I paid But probably around 250 300 maybe I Don't know as you continue back in the Sneaker embroidered into the lateral Side you've got your UNCC blue Jumpman Obviously like every other pair of Air Jordan 11s it's only on the lateral side Of the shoe and not on the medial side And then moving around to the back of The shoe or the heel you've got the 23 Printed on the black sock liner of the Shoe in white unfortunately this year It's not stitched it's not like a 3D Print it's just your standard Air Jordan 11 print which is fine they're keeping This I think as true to the OG as Possible is what I've read so uh it's Going to be true to the OG for example The cut of the patent leather is higher Like it was on the original pair I mean They've been doing that since I think Like 2016 at this point but still the Last retro of the Air Jordan 11 Legend Blues it was cut really really low so It's kind of nice to have a new version Of this shoe that has the higher cut Then moving down on the sneaker you get To your standard Air Jordan 11 midsole In white and if you saw my video where I Ranked all the OG Air Jordans in terms Of comfort the Air Jordan 11 was Actually pretty high on the the list and That's because it's got a Zoom Air unit
Inside the midsole of the shoe that Feels great underfoot genuinely one of The more comfortable pairs of Air Jordan Sneakers it's not something I expected Now to be fair the comfort of this shoe Might have been added to by the Incredibly comfortable pair of Apothecary socks that I'm rocking in the Onit portion of this video which Actually drops this Friday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time on Apothecary decom it's The bandana collection and I actually Think the black pair matches this shoe Perfectly it looks amazing it's such a Clean look again Friday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time Apothecary tocom I'm really Excited about this new bandan collection It's a combo that I did not expect to Work as well as it does but man it looks Good with these 11s and they're a very Comfortable pair of socks so they make These shoes even more comfortable than They already are of course in the medial Side you've got your exposed carbon Fiber this time around it comes in black And blue which is a very very clean look And then finally rounding off the Sneaker you've got your semi-translucent Blue out soole with your black pods and The 4 foot end of the heel and your White Jumpman underneath the rubber I'm So happy that this shoe is back it's Been so long I'm so excited to rock this Shoe I get that this shoe might not be
