Get ready for another exciting episode of Customs & Restorations with Vick Almighty, where we take sneaker customization to a whole new level! In today’s episode, we’re diving into the world of WWE Wrestling as we transform a classic pair of Air Jordan 1’s into a stunning tribute to none other than the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin.

After hearing your suggestions in the comments of my Spiderman Custom, it was clear that a WWE-themed custom was in high demand, and what better way to pay homage to the Texas Rattlesnake himself than with a pair of kicks that embody his iconic persona?

To kick things off, I headed over to UNDFTD to snag the perfect base shoe for this project. Opting for the Air Jordan 1 high top gave me the canvas I needed to unleash my creativity and incorporate intricate stencils that truly capture the essence of Stone Cold.

As I delved into the design process, I quickly realized that this project was going to be a labor of love. With each stencil requiring meticulous attention to detail, I found myself sinking hours upon hours into bringing this vision to life. But hey, when you’re passionate about what you do, time becomes irrelevant, right?

Just when I thought I was in the home stretch, disaster struck. My trusty airbrush decided to call it quits, throwing a major wrench into my plans. But hey, when you’re faced with a challenge, you roll with the punches. Burning the midnight oil (literally), I hustled through the night to salvage the project before catching an early flight to SneakerCon.

With time ticking away faster than a Stone Cold stunner, I managed to put the finishing touches on the custom with mere minutes to spare. Talk about cutting it close!

Despite the challenges and late nights, this project pushed my creativity to new heights, and I couldn’t be prouder of the end result. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as we take you behind the scenes of one of my most ambitious customs yet.

Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, stay fresh! – Vick

What's up guys I'm here at undefeated Picking out a shoe for my next project On the recent Spider-Man custom video That I just did I asked you guys to pick Out my next theme my next one's going to Be a WWE theme project it's something I've never done before and I'm a huge Fan of WWE let's go inside and pick out A Shoe I was looking for a black and white Sneaker this is perfect let's go pay for It size n sir n yes please hey John just Make it a size n every time I come by Bro all right man weird Appreciate you John man bro always Man before we get started drop a comment Down below of one of stone CO's Signature sings for a chance to win a Ruven signature kit now let's break down This project first things first Deconstruction now just by looking at The shoe I have a pretty good idea of The areas that I want to deconstruct now The first important rule when it comes To deconstruction is to be very careful With the blade you don't want to cause Some damage to the shoe and have to go Back and fix it or ruin the custom Before you get started to cut these Panels off I'm using an X-Acto Knife With tape around the majority of the Blade so I can focus on cutting just the Thread X-Acto knives are super sharp and Even the smallest movement can cut into

The leather panel I'm also using a seam Ripper to take off the tongue tags so I Can replace them with you customized Ones later deconstruction is complete Reconstruction will happen later next Step is prep work on the white leather I'm going to be using some adstone and Cotton balls specifically on the toe box And these two back panels This step is Very important I'm going to take my time Doing this if I don't during wear the Paint will crack or during the process When I'm laying down paint and stencils When it's time to remove the stencils The paint will come off with it Leather's all prepped let's cover up This white I'm going to be using some Charcoal gray very close to black but Not quite I'm going lay it all down Using a Paintbrush these black and white Jordan Ones are a perfect base shoe just Because of these white panels are easy To turn to any color you want for Whatever concept you're thinking but if You wanted to paint the black you would Have to most likely lay down a white Base Co first to change it a different Color charcoal gray is fully laid down Got every little corner all the white is Fully covered up next I'm going to tape Up everything but the areas that I just Painted so I can airbrush the next color I'm going to lay down the exact same

Color I did with the airbrush but this Time mixed in with the metallic silver The reason why I didn't mix in silver With the original charcoal gray is with The paintbrush I never get a consistent Finish I'm going to take a quick break From the paint job and let it dry for a While I'm here at tanies looking for Materials to replace the Sues and the Tongue tags on the Jordan Ones I'm not Exactly sure what I'm looking for but Tan's always has the best selection so It shouldn't be an issue to find Something this one's perfect screams the Texas rattlesnake one down one more to Go all right I think I found the perfect Material this is some beautiful soft Sheep skin with some skulls printed all Around I need this let's get out of here We're going to cut out some material we Got my boy Christian over there getting Some stuff ready it's been a while my Dude what's up brother is it the rock or Hulk Hogan we're doing stone cold bro [Music] All done with the laser engraving as Always I'm ACH comes in clutch so you Can see we got some beautiful sues cut Out I made sure I got the areas with the Most skulls while I was there I also cut Out the rattles sake material this is Going to be for the tongue tags when I Was out shopping at tanny's I also Stopped by the thrift store looking for

Some denim material as you guys know Stone cold is always rocking his jeam Shorts who the hell is this couldn't Find any but I did find some pants with The perfect tone that I was looking for Oh look at this I'm going to cut out a Nice big piece of the denim this is the Only area on the shoe that I could think Of to incorporate on first things first I'm locating the best part of the denim I don't want anything with any stains or Too dark looking for a nice even washed Look y I made you some chaps bro can you Put these on for me N ste's like the best boss in all and I Want to make sure he knows how much I Appreciate him Steve here you go bro Let's go put him in his office I'm going to cut a big enough piece so When I lay down the adhesive I can lay Down on the insoles and wrap it around Denim is attached onto the insole but The spray glue is not enough I'm going To use the post bed to lock it in I'm Going to stitch all around the Edges while we're using the poster Machine I'm going to take care of the SES I am going to be adding simulated Stitching before I put them back onto The shoes but as is this leather's way Too thin I'm going to put some backing On it so it doesn't work this part is Not that hard I'm going to spray some Glue on one of the swooshes then

Immediately put it on the backing once It's pressed on evenly I'm going to take The whole thing to the post bed this Step is going to permanently attach the Backing onto the swoosh and add the Simulated stitching at the same time Once I'm done with that I'm just going To cut off the excess material I'm going To repeat this exact process on all four Swooshes all done with the sewing adding The backing really helped I'm not Worried about these swooshes getting Warped or stretching anymore now let's Get back onto the pain job we still have A lot of work to go we got to print out Some stencils for this part I pulled a Lot of inspiration from the stuff that Steve Austin would wear in the ring and Old WWF t-shirts I spent countless hours On Google and eBay looking up old Designs from his t-shirts there was a Lot to play with ultimately I picked my Favorite designs we got the Terminator Skull the rattlesnake fear middle Fingers Stone Cold logo Austin 316 some Lining a lot of good stuff first things First I got to measure out each panel to Make sure everything's going to line up Properly I'm thinking the toe boxes Ankle area and the back panel are Perfect areas for all these stencils Then using the Cricut we're going to Print everything out while I got the Cricut out let's cut out some ironon

Vinyl for the tongue tags and the Insoles cutting out iron on vinyl is the Exact same process as cutting out Regular vinyl for stencils the only Difference is it's a different material And for this one I'm using Chrome now For the annoying part I got to do all The weeding this means I got to remove The part of the vinyl that I'm not going To be using weeding is complete does not Got the iron on stencils for the Insultes we got one of Stone Cold's Famous lines and that's the bottom line Cuz Stone Cold said so for the tongue Tags we got Austin 316 and some sick Chrome letters back to the stencils I'm Going to be using some transfer paper to Lay down the stencils onto the shoes for This part I'm will to be using two parts Of the stencil the first part is purely For placement once the second part is Laid down I'll remove the first one and Start painting Stencils are all laid down we're waiting For some paint I'm going to start off With some silver and some metallic white To get the paint job going Silver paint is laid down same thing With the white now I'm going to go in With a darker gray to lay down some Shading so far so good we got the Metallic white silver and dark silver Laid down we got some nice shadowing all Around now for the stone cold logo it's

A two-part stencil we got the first part Down I'm lay down the second set of Stencils once I'm done I should have one Color and then outline with a different Color you looks great I'm going to tape Off everything now but the eyes on the Snake and the skull so we can lay down The red not going to lie this is taking A long time very tedious work with the Amount of stencils that I'm doing and All the different shading and colors That I'm using as well now the back area Is done same thing with the middle Fingers I'm going to take off the Fin And tape for those back areas we still Need to work on the snake I got to add The Austin 316 on the mouth area and add Some more glow around the Eyes for the Terminator skull I have to Add some lining to make it really pop This stencil was tricky to line up with The skull but once I got it I use some White paint then the same blue paint mix I use on the back Stone coldex to lay it Down all right guys so here's an update Where I'm I'm at it's late tonight it's About 12:00 everybody already went home I'm still working on the custom there's A lot of work to go still I'm going in Adding some shading here in there some Fine lines for the details to make it Really pop outside of that I'm doing Some other projects off camera right now I got about one two three different

Projects that I got to turn in the next Couple of days I'm basically out of time Those projects got to get done this Project's got to get done tomorrow Before I go to Sor con Detroit in the Middle of that my airbrush completely Broke I'm pretty sure there's a couple Of parts that I got to replace Internally luckily I keep everything so I do have a replacement airbrush Somewhere laying around here it's not The best one it's one of those from Harper Freight again I touched on these Before they're not perfect but it'll do The job plus I did come up with some More ideas for some stencils let's print Those out as Well update number two I got everything Cleaned up I created some more stencils For the stone cold custom as you can see I added some lining bolts on both sides Of the heel area I'm also going to be Adding some Flames up here all of this Took about an hour and half had to make Sure the placement and measurements were On point all I got to do now is lay down The second part of the stencil that I'm Going to be using so I can wrap it up Get some sleep come back and wrap up This Project all right it's the next morning I only got a couple hours of sleep but I Came in super early to make sure I got This paint job done luckily my spare

Airbrush is doing the trick and I can Wrap these final stencils up for these I'm just laying down some silver blue And purple paint these stencils may have Made the process longer but as you guys Know it's all about the Details paint job is fun finally Complete I'm excited how this one turned Out but it took hours last step I got to Do is go outside and lay down a finish Got to protect the artwork and lay down A nice glossy Finish all right guys finally paint job Is complete we took off all the tape lay Down the finisher the artwork is Beautiful off the black off camera I Also did a couple more details on the Top right here collar I added a gloss Finish on the black to give it some more Pop off the matte black leather I also Went ahead and added a small gradient on This small piece a little bit of silver To purple to go with these Flames now We're back to the rattlesnake Austin 36 Tongue tags we're going to sew them onto The shoes first I'm going to use some Double-sided tape to stick the tags onto The tongues then with the post bed we'll Lock it In almost there we're back onto the Soses simulat stitching is already Applied we just got to stick them onto The shoes We're going to be using some Bar super stick I'll apply some glue

Onto the Swoosh on to the upper let it Sitp for a few minutes then we'll stick It Together SES are on last step is to lace Them up originally I was going to use These gold Nike dubr that are shaped Like WWE championship belts it's a cool Idea but I don't think it fits this shoe Because of the gold I'll save this for Another project however I do got these Chrome barb wire dubr it's perfect for This concept these are from my personal Pair they're Fox shy uniform it's a cool Detail let's lace them up this custom Turned out so dope it's definitely one Of my favorites I spent so many hours on The paint job alone the skull the Rattlesnake the shading all of that Stuff took forever but it came out so Clean I'm glad I came in early before Everybody else did cuz there was some More details I added to the shoe Underneath the tongue tags on both Sneakers I iron on some vinyl over here We got some Chrome vinyl that says hell Yeah with an exclamation mark on the Opposite it says 100% whoopass on the Sides I added BMF and SOB if you guys Don't know what that means look it up I Got a catch a flag to Detroit cicon I'm Going to take these with me to show them Out to everybody before I leave comment Down Below on which lesser you want to See me do next for a chance to win a
