???? He did what to these sneakers?! ????

The Travis Scott X Jordan collab sneakers are always the top in our comment requests on how to clean them, so we are back with another tutorial. In today’s Shoe Care Academy the founder of RESHOEVN8R himself is back on the screen to show you the best method to clean the Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott Olive. These were rumored to be the last Jordan 1 release that Travis Scott ever does.. Do you believe that?!

We get to show you what the cleaning process looks like from our point of view! These sneakers were badly beaten up.. I mean they got ran over with one of the biggest trucks I’ve ever seen! But all in all you get to see that you 100% can wear your sneakers and you don’t have to be afraid. After all about 85% of stains are cleanable!

For this cleaning we relied on the RESHOEVN8R Essential Cleaning Kit. The Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 sneakers feature different types of suede, nubuck and leather materials which can require a little bit of extra care and precision. The sneaker had a possibility of bleeding due to the dark materials, so we had to ensure that we were careful while cleaning the sneaker.

For the main steps we used the 3 different brushes and natural solution to breakdown all of the dirt and grime while patting dry along the way with our Microfiber Towel. The main reason for patting the sneaker dry is to ensure that the suede materials aren’t absorbing the dirty water, because it can lead to oversaturating the sneaker and get watermarks.

Overall the sneaker cleaned up really well and it was a very quick clean! After the sneaker dried we noticed some darker spots, but it was nothing that Mink Oil couldn’t fix. Mink Oil not only works great for bringing back the color of suede/ nubuck, but it fully conditions the materials to make your sneakers last much longer!

Let us know in the comments what sneaker you’re having a hard time with and we might clean them up for you!
