In this episode, Vick Almighty is cleaning out the Reshoevn8r closet to find some sneakers to trade in for upcoming projects.
We’ll go to Archive AZ, a local resell shop, to see how much we can get and hopefully come up with something cool. But before then, we’re introducing the newest member of the Reshoevn8re team, Luis. He’ll help Vick pick which shoes to take to Archive.
Vick and Luis take all 14 pairs, including “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4s and a few Travis Scott x Air Jordans.
Since Vick lacks real inspiration for his future projects, he’ll examine the Archive shelves to see what stands out. Vick will have plenty of choices after getting $2,500+ in store credit.
First? A potential A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 + A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 4 mashup. Second? Something with the Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack in the “University Red” colorway. But… with what shoe? Maybe an Air Jordan 3?
With the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3/4 Hybrid a sure project, Vick and Luis will head back to the studio to consider what could be done with the Jumpman Jack.
Vick links with Christian to help with a potential mock-up for a Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack mash-up. Originally thinking it could work well with a Jordan 3 or Jordan 4, Vick pivoted when the shoe reminded him of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 sole, inspired by the Nike Air Tech Challenge II.
With Christian’s help, the mock-up should give Vick a visual of how the project will work. However, Vick will have some work to do despite most of the mash-up aligning.
Vick also looks at the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3/4 mash-up. For this one, Vick will use the upper on the Jordan 3 and the sole of the Jordan 4, which seems to work fine enough. After tinkering with the mock-up, Vick is thinking about what more he can do to the upper to make it a true Air Jordan 3/Air Jordan 4 mash-up.
Will the Jordan 3/Jordan 4 A Ma Maniere custom work? It seems like there might be a problem… tune in next week.

It for a couple days I figured that Might be a little too basic I work with Jordan 3s and Jordan fours all the time So as I was looking at the shoe I saw The soul and looked at the lines it Reminded me of the Yeezy tws same thing With the Air Tech Challenge I also Remember seeing Kanye West model these When these first came out so combining The Yeezy 2 with the Jumpman Jack will Be kind of legendary the thing is I'm Not sure if it's going to work my Biggest concern is this area right here The so is really close to that swoosh The new Soul's got to cover up that Original glue line so that's where you Come in dude I want to see if this is Going to work cuz these were like 5 600 Bucks I got to buy another pair of Airtech challenges which is like two 00 Bucks combining them is like 1,000 bucks I don't want to take anything apart Before I know for sure or kind of know If it's going to work exactly it's a lot Of money but the thing is man this is my Biggest concern this piece right here is Way too close to the swoosh this area Right here is also pretty close to the Swoosh that new Souls got to cover up All the original blue lines you know and It's going to take some finesse I'm not Sure if it's going to work same thing With the Jumpman Jack logo on the back The new Souls got to get close to that
But without you know getting getting Over it right so it's a little tricky Dude the inside part I'm not really too Worried about at the moment I am wearing My Airtech Challenges take them off real quick so You see my biggest concern is this area Right here kind of dips down dips down Again I'm assuming this area is going to Go right around this area where it's Already pretty high so I'm not sure if It's going to be able to cover it up Fully so I already mocked it up and you Know everything aligns pretty good so Like you said just coming down right Here there's that odd area kind of like Dead space don't know how you're going To fix it probably just trying to in my Opinion trying to drag it just cover Just fill it up somehow say so what You're saying is it's not going to fully Cover up uh no not just you applying the Sole did you warp that Midsole uh right here yes hold it up a Little bit so it's going to be Challenging in those two areas right There without that toe cap fully Covering up that leather panel on the Toe box and that back area not being Covered up by the midsole on the jump And Jack logo so all right as I look at The shoe I'm not sure how I feel about This one do you think I can pull it off I think you can finesse it bro I don't
Know I'm not going to think about this One right now I still got to order the Air Tech Challenge I'm put this one to The side all right I see you got the Amam threes and fours that I picked up From archive how's a mockup looking for Those tell me it is what you wanted to Do again all right so what I'm thinking Is put in the Jordan four Soul on the Jordan 3 upper not the other way around I thought about putting the four on the Three soul but that's not going to work This should work the way I'm thinking But there is a couple concerns I have Such as this midsole piece and the Rubber on this area can you see what It'll look like yeah let's do it man I Was able to separate the three uppers And then the the sole for the fours and This is how they line up cuz that that Looks good off the rip dude that was Probably my biggest concern can you pass Me the three So like I mentioned this rubber area I Need it to be underneath the Stitch line You nailed that part so that part gives Me confidence that I can pull this off This area also because of the two dips Next to it was another concerned area I Think it covers up the original glue Line am I right yeah it does what about The back is there a concern there uh the Dip from the sole there's probably going To be a little spacing but cuz I didn't
Warp it too much but I I think it's I Think it's something you can pull all Right that looks pretty good can you try Moving the upper a little bit Higher that might look a little bit More but the back area is the blue L I Have to cover up right so yep and then a Little the back I needed to sit lower in The front hopefully I push it up higher Again it goes back to finessing this Whole project I think I can pull it off Way more confident with this project That looks really good I don't think I Need any tweaks dude yes sir so this one Was a little more simple yeah it should Work a lot easier right less finesse the Trick is to getting that big old bump Underneath that Stitch line so the only Problem that I see you probably running Into is that back piece so the back Piece what do you mean you were to take From here justly I guess you're right Cuz the back part just kind of dips down Compared to the Jordan 3 it's kind of More straight almost slight dip so I'm Going to have to tuck the back a bit More on the Jordan 3 for it to cover up The original glue line with the Jordan 4 Sole okay but not too much to the point Where this piece is going to cover the Stitch line on that Jordan 3 panel right Right this piece right here cuz it's Perfect on the mockup it's slightly Below so yeah you but I don't want to
Move it too high cuz it'll look funky Touching the stitching so I got to keep That in mind this little bump right here On the Midel looks good for the most Part I'm not tripping about that that Looks good that one should work out I Think and I think it really mees with The suede that's a yeah this one I'm not Too concerned with I'm just hoping we Can cover up that glue line like you set On the back this doesn't go over the Stitch Line think that's about it I hope so man Didn't it's never that simple but I'm Hoping this one's a simpler one if Anybody's going to figure it out bro too All right so this one should be a lot Easier I'm for sure going to start this One first I'm not going to get into that One just yet this one seems like a Headache hoping this one's a bit more Straightforward seeing how simple that Looks I feel like I should do more to The ERS now you know what I'm saying Three well again I don't want to do too Much but for example like I could Probably swap the Tongues the tongues are very similar so A Jordan 4 tongue will go nicely with The Jordan four Soul right so I'm moving That over here in a perfect R swap the Tabs but again I don't think that's Going to work you know cuz this is way Fatter than the Jordan 4 One this has
Stitch lines right here if I was put This over here there could be holes on The outside poking through I mean I Could use leather filler but it may look A little janky yeah slight slightly Smaller differences but then this metal Button sick putting that somewhere on The Shoe I think the wings are a little Overkill for the Jordan 3 right I might Just be forcing it On here yeah that might look kind of Dumb it's a reason why Nike hasn't done It I think simple probably yeah Simple And Clean dude like nobody's done it and Man if anybody's going To make simple look good we should do a Spiz like bro get the fives dude you're You can Justes yet all right I think I'm more Comfortable with this project than the Jumpman Jacks I still got to take them Apart and hope that it looks as simple As it does on the screen all right bro You did your job hey appreciate you bro Good luck then need it on this one all Right guys let's start the construction Let's get to work what the dude Is this thinging warped I've never seen This happen before I'm really really Hoping this goes away otherwise this Might be scrapped
