The year of Michael Jordan is officially Over but in my opinion 2023 was one of The best sneaker release years we've had In a long time I've been seeing a lot of Videos pop up on YouTube of people Saying that 2023 was not a good year for Sneakers which I think is ridiculous I Mean look back at some of the sneaker Releases that we had this year and sure The sneaker Market was down pricewise But for sneakerheads it's one of the Best years out there because we could Buy the sneakers that we wanted for much Less than we had to buy them for a Couple years ago so not only were we Getting good releases but we were also Getting them for good prices I mean Satin bread one sitting at the outlet That's insane but now it's time to look Forward into 2024 and a lot of the Sneaker releases that have leaked over The last couple months for this upcoming Year have really blown my mind there's a Lot of really great stuff dropping and In today's video we're taking a look at The sneaker releases in January 2024 This is sitter cell but in today's video I want to start things off a little bit Differently than I usually do with sit Sell videos and rather jump into January 1st I want to talk about a pair of shoes That I guess technically released in December but won't ship until mid January and that's really the main
Reason that I'm talking about them now Because we don't exactly know when They're going to ship I ordered my pair Or pre-ordered my pair a couple weeks Ago and and uh I'm still waiting on it And that shoe is the wildly polarizing Yeezy pod shoe so as a sock connoisseur Such as myself someone who loves socks So much he started to Sock company a Sock shoe is intriguing I mean I'll be Honest it's not something I would have Thought of immediately when I thought of A new sneaker from Kanye but it's what We got and I mean to be fair we've had Sock-like sneakers in the past we had The Adidas nmd City socks which were Pretty much socks on sneakers same thing As the original nmd r1s and shoes like That I mean even the Yeezy 350s could be Considered a sock like construction However this is literally a sock with The rubber outsole not only that it's a Knee high sock for $200 sure I know Kanye has released a lot of wild looking Sneakers over the last couple years that At first didn't hit But as time went on They became some of the most coveted Sneakers out there for example the yezy 700s and the Yeezy foam Runners however This this feels a little bit different I Could really get behind the Yeezy foam Runners and I even pre-ordered the Yeezy 700s but this one while yes I did Pre-order it I pretty much paid $200 for
A pair of socks which by the way if you Want a pair of excellent socks you can Check out my sock brand apothecary Linked on the YouTube shopping tab They're only $15 a pair which is not bad Plus this hat and this soda you can grab All the stuff on apothecary's website But hey if you really want to have these Yeezy socks you can grab them right now On supply. easy.com for pre-order Apparently they're shipping in the next 4 weeks so in theory we should get them In January and believe me when these Officially release I will be giving you Guys a full review I'm going to be Taking them out everywhere and just Wearing them around getting people's Reactions seeing how they feel on foot Doing everything I can to test them out To the best of my abilities and find out Whether this $200 pair of socks with the Sole on it is worth $200 and I guess Sure because this is a sit or sell video I should give you guys my sit or sell Rating in this case because it is a Pre-order I'm kind of obligated to give It a Sit because it's been available for At least two weeks at this point hasn't Sold out so again because of that I have To give this shoe a sit but I mean hey It is possible it's a Yeezy that maybe After the pre-order ends and they Officially release a shoe that sure Maybe it sells out maybe it resells for
A decent amount I have no idea but right Now I have to give this shoe a s Speaking of weird wild and not so Wonderful sneakers from Kanye West we're Also getting a new pair of slides from Kanye a new pair of Yeezy slides it's Crazy and again the reason that I'm Talking about this pair of shoes in this Video is because this is a sitter cell And this shoe is supposed to be Releasing in January and that shoe of Course is the Yeezy pod slides which Actually literally become a pod when you Put them together I'm not going to lie Kind of a cool aesthetic something that I personally think is pretty Rad but Unfortunately it's also priced at $200 So uh Kanye is selling a pair of $200 Socks and a pair of $200 slides which Was already a lot for a pair of standard Yeezy slides from Adidas but this seems Like there's less material there that Being said although the price point is Very very high there's no no denying That I'm sure his production costs are a Lot higher because he's doing it himself Rather than going through Adidas so it Probably costs him a bunch of money to Make these products maybe not the sock Ones but probably the slides cuz they Had to create their own mold actually to Be fair they probably open up their own Mold for the Yeezy sock shoes too for That rubber outsole so maybe that was
Expensive as well I don't know but They're probably trying to cover their Cost of manufacturing and that's why They're so expensive maybe in the future They'll drop in price I have no idea or Maybe he's going for this whole like Designer Vibe I really don't know but Either way $200 pair of slides it looks Pretty wild wild and I definitely want To see this shoe in hand because I've Got to know how it feels on foot now When it comes to whether I think this Pair of slides will sit or sell I Honestly think that this one will be More successful than the Pod shoes Because Yeezy slides are some of the Most popular shoes out there so for that Reason if this shoe drops outside of a Pre-order which I do think it is going To be available for pre-order uh I think It would sell out but because it's Available for pre-order most likely It'll sit but you never know but finally Why don't we just jump right into January 1st and start things off with Apparently one of the first sneaker Releases of the year the A6 gel Cho 14 In Birch now I don't know if you saw my Video of the top 10 sneakers of 2023 but A gel Cayo was on the list in fact the Gel Cayo 14s one of my favorite sneaker Releases of the Year by far also if you Want to check out that video see my top 10 and also sneaker of the year make
Sure to click the link at the top of the Screen but over the last couple months I've definitely come around to as6 in a Big way it's one of my favorite sneaker Brands coming into 2024 so any colorway Of the gel Cayo 14s that are releasing That are as clean as this birge colorway I'm going to pick up and this Birch Colorway is absolutely fire the base Colorway of this shoe is a sort of cream I guess Birch gray color you've got Metallic accents and darker gray accents And all around it's a very simple but Very clean look and of course the A6 jel Kayo 14s are an incredibly comfortable Pair of shoes so if you haven't tried a Pair yet I definitely recommend it and All of the other popular colorways sold Out to this point so this is probably One of the best options that you have to Grab a pair for retail now with that Being said unfortunately the hype for As6 has really picked up so grabbing a Pair of these is not going to be the Easiest thing in the world it's not Impossible but I'm going to be honest I Do think that this shoe will end up Selling out maybe not instantly but Pretty quick also releasing on the first We've got two different colorways of the New Balance 1906 U Lunar New Year's so These shoes are releasing in a cream Color way and a pink color way and I'll Be honest with you I'm not usually a
Huge fan of Pink Shoes but this pink Colorway is ultra clean I mean Especially since it's accented with the Cream color I think it's super wearable Super dope it's definitely a shoe that If I can get it for retail I will try And get it for retail but I mean that Cream colorway is also very clean as Well I can't justify buying both Colorways but I might try and go for one Or the other depending on which one is More widely available and If this Releases any indication it looks like New Balance will continue to kill it Into 2024 and if you haven't tried new Balance yet what are you doing I feel The same way that I felt about the ultra Boost back in 2015 it's a brand that I Mean it's been around forever but dude Their shoes are fire you got to try them Now as far as whether these shoes will Sit or sell I'm leaning towards sit However some sizes will probably sell Out over the first week that they Release maybe even the first day that They release but because they're not a Collaboration there's not as much hype On these shoes so I'll give them a but Hey if you want them just in the case That they do sell out you do want to be On their website right when they drop Just to make sure that you can grab a Pair for yourself moving on to January 4th we've got the Jordan Tatum 1es in
Tiedye now although we've already seen The Jordan Tatum 2 revealed by Jordan Brand they're not quite finished Releasing the Jordan Tatum 1 and it Seems like this tie-dye color way is Going to be one of the last that being Said I definitely think it's one of the Cleanest colorways the tan upper accent To BU the brown tie-dye definitely gives This shoe sort of a cool like desert Camo vibe that I'm definitely into I Have yet to try a pair of Jordan Tatum Ones which is crazy to say cuz I Reviewed sneakers for a living but I Haven't uh I'm not really a Tatum fan Not saying he's a bad basketball player At all but I'm a Sixers fan so I can't Really can't really rock the tatums all That said it's still a clean looking Sneaker a shoe that I'm sure a lot of People are excited to grab but I don't Think this shoe is going to sell out Then rounding off January 4th we've got The niky alphafly 3 releasing in the Prototype color way so this shoe is the Followup to the wildly successful Alphafly and alphafly 2 and it actually Changes up the Aesthetics of the sneaker Pretty dramatically now both the Alphafly and the alphafly 2 were Specifically designed as Marathon Running sneaker and not really as daily Training shoes and it seems like the Alphafly 3 is the same sort of idea
Where it's more of a race day sneaker Than a sneaker that you throw on every Day now you may have noticed that there Wasn't a huge visual difference between The alphafly and the alphafly 2 they Both featured that segmented midsole This time around it's all one midsole And it's probably the biggest aesthetic Change since the original version of the Shoe and in my opinion it looks amazing It's a much better looking shoe overall And it probably features the same crazy Bounce and speed increasing nness that I Don't know what I'm saying the the shoes Make you feel like you're running faster And they probably do make you run faster In fact someone set a running record in The original shoe I'm sure the runners Are going to Flame me in the comments For forgetting the name of the person Who set the record but I don't know I'm Not a runner but I'd still like to try This shoe because it makes me feel like I can run super fast even though I I Really can't now unfortunately because The shoe features all of Nike's Top-of-the-line Tech it's going to cost You a lot of money it retails for $285 and it will probably sell out Pretty quickly as they tend to do Especially the new versions of these Shoes every year because Runners want to Have the best of the best for racing day And hey I can't blame them it's a clean
Looking sneaker it's one that I would Like to try and maybe I'll find one in The outlet at some point and then I'll Grab it for half the price hopefully but Uh we'll just have to wait and see and I Know some of you are saying a running Sneaker that's going to sell out but yes They sell out every year and I wouldn't Be surprised if this first colorway of The alphafly 3 does the same and sells Out almost immediately even though it's $285 as crazy as it sounds moving on to January 9th we've got the Nike Air Max 2 Cb94 in the old Royal colorway the Charles Barkley Air Max is one of the More popular Retro Air Max Styles it's One that not everyone knows about at Least people who were born after the 9s Which is a lot of people at this point I Mean it's been 24 years since the 9s so There's a lot of people out there who Probably don't even know who Charles Barkley is which is crazy cuz he's on TNT check it out if you haven't yet he's One of the most famous basketball Players of all time if you didn't know Hopefully you do and this is his Signature sneaker the Air Max 2cb and It's coming back in a white black and I Guess sort of bluish color way it's fine It's a clean sneaker there are people Out there who are nostalgic for this Shoe but fortunately I'm not really one Of them and I don't think this shoe is
Going to sell that quick so for that Reason I'm giving this shoe a sit next Up on January 10th we've got the women's Nike Dunk low cool gray and football Gray we they didn't call it like the the Cool football gray or just one of the Two cool gray football gray either one Would have been fine but they called Them both like two different names for The same sneaker and uh that is the most Interesting part about this shoe it's a Gray Nike Dunk glow I guess it has a Semi-translucent out soole that's kind Of cool but yeah that's about it do I Think it's going to sell out probably Not but if you've been looking for a Pair of Nike D clothes with a cream Colored midsole here you go probably can Get it pretty easily unfortunately Though it's just coming in women sizing So if you have super large feet you got To look but yes I am giving this shoe a Sit finishing off the 10th we've got Another women's release with the women's Air Jordan 2 black sale I don't know why Jordan brand is pushing the Jordan 2 so Hard they're just not hitting I thought That maybe when the off white Jordan 2 Is released that maybe people would be All about the Jordan twos but that just Didn't seem to happen there was like Three pairs of twos that were popular The off-whites uh maybe the Jay Balin oh The OG 2s but that's that's about it I
Don't know why Jordan brand is just Pushing out release after release after Release they're not selling out they're Sitting in outlets and I definitely Think that this release while yes it is Clean it comes with the white upper ACC To by cream and black it's nothing Special it's a women's only release and Uh I'm sure I'll see it in the outlet Like a week after it releases so because Of that I'm giving this shoe a Sit Jordan brand please if you're trying to Revive a silhouette give us consistently Good colorways over and over and over Again if you have to give us like a Travis Scott Air Jordan 2 do that but Don't keep giving us just basic colorway After basic colorway I mean the amam Maner were clean but they weren't clean Enough to save the silhouette next up on January 11th we've got the Air Max 90 Gortex infrared so as you can probably Tell from the name of this sneaker this Is one of the most iconic air max90s Being the OG colorway and it's remade in A gortex upper so that it's a solid Winter beater now to be honest my Air Max 9s are already my beaters the Infrared colorway specifically so I Don't really need a gortex pair although That would be better for the winry Conditions that may be coming for us in The next couple weeks or months Depending on where you live and I mean I
Guess if I had to have a winterized pair Of Air Maxes I would like them to be one Of the OG colorways and the infrared 990s are one of the cleanest pairs of Air Maxes that you can get so I guess it Is nice to see Nike release a gortex Pair that actually has a clean colorway I mean you look at the Jordans that have Released that are gortex and none of Them are that clean they're always like Weird colorways they don't often Drop Like an OG colorway or a popular color Way that people would actually want the Closest thing we got were like the Winterized fours which were sort of like An &m four I guess there was a couple Pairs of Jordan 1es that were all right But nothing that really hit and I think This is probably one of the pairs of Gorex sneakers that might actually hit Because it is an OG colorway and and Because it looks like the original but Do I think that the gortex infrared 90s Will sell out probably not and so Because of that I'm giving this shoe a Sit moving on to January 12th we've got The Nike Dunk low black and anth site so While at first glance this shoe looks Like an all black pair of women's Nike Dunk Low's apparently the overlays on This shoe are reflective which does in a Lot of ways make this shoe a lot more Interesting than it appears on the Surface at First Look it looks like an
All black pair of Nike Dunk clo but it's Got something a little bit more Interesting going on if you take a Picture of this shoe with the flash is That enough to make me run out of the Store and grab this shoe probably not And I don't think that'll be the case For most people I think the shoe is Probably going to be a a shelf sitter But either way it's a clean look and if You like newu Nike Dunk lows this is Probably not a bad sneaker to go for but With Nike Dunk hype dying out unless It's a pair of collab SBS I just don't See this shoe moving so for that reason I'm giving this shoe is it also dropping On the 12th we've got the Nike Dunk low Dark Curry I haven't mentioned this but I probably should it looks like they've Actually raised the price of the Nikey Dunk low to $135 because all the pairs Of Nike Dunk lows that I've talked about In today's video are now priced at $1 $35 on the sneakers app which seems like Too much for a pair of Nike Dunks Although they were always seemingly Underpriced at least compared to other Sneakers in the market so I guess it Makes sense that they're raising the Price especially with inflation but I Don't know it's just a lot to pay for a Colorway that kind of looks like this It's not a bad colorway but it's just Kind of more of the same you've got this
Sort of dark tan colored leather upper Accented by white overlays it's nothing Special it's nothing too exciting and It's probably going to end up sitting on Shelves and then rounding off the 12th We've got a collab that a lot of people Have been asking for and that's the Rosco AP aary chicken and W's 2.0 Collection last year my sa company Apothecary did a collab with popular YouTuber Rosco and it sold out like in Minutes it was wild and since then both Rosco and I and also Apothecary have Been getting messages about dropping a Restock or a new collection and we Decided to do a whole new collection and In my opinion this collection is even Cleaner than the first collection you've Got four different colorways of socks That come with a super sick pixelated Design and they feature the chicken and Dou used logo embroidered onto the side Of the sock so if you guys want to check Out this brand new collection it should Drop on January 12: at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time on apothecary's website but Don't tell anybody I told you guys cuz I Don't know if I was supposed to tell you Guys yet I'm really not sure but I'm Doing it next up on January 13th we've Got the Nike SB Zoom Blazer mid welcome Skateboarding collab so I'll be honest I Wasn't familiar with welcome Skateboarding whatsoever apparently
They're a Madrid based Skateboarding Company that apparently revitalized Skateboarding in Spain but I do have to Say as a fan of Nike Blazer mids I Definitely prefer the SB Varian of the Shoes and this apparently high quality Off-white colored leather used on the Upper of the shoe definitely makes it Seem much more premium pair that with The gold accents on the heel the purple Details on the outs soole of the shoe And the black and white laces and you've Got a very clean and very wearable pair Of Nike Blazer mids I'm not entirely Sure how popular this sneaker is going To be I'm guessing it's going to be Relatively popular but not end up Selling out so for that reason I'm Giving this shoe a sit but if you want a Specific size make sure to go for this Sneaker on release day so you don't miss Out also dropping on the 13th is the Air Jordan one yellow ochre so I've already Dropped my full review on this sneaker As of a couple weeks ago and if you guys Want to check that out and all my Thought thoughts on this shoe make sure To click the link at the top of the Screen not only that if you want to grab This shoe or any of the other shoes in Today's video make sure to check them Out through the YouTube shopping tab Also linked on your screen but I've got To say that this is a super clean
Sneaker you've got a white leather upper Accented by sort of a yellowy Nuuk I Mean it's definitely yellow but it's More of like a burnt yellow and even if You're not a fan of yellow sneakers I Mean it's the Chicago color blocking and Really any color looks good on a pair of Jordan 1es when it's done in this color Blocking but the resale market for a Pair of sneakers before the sneaker Actually releases can be a good Indicator of whether a sneaker is going To sit or sell and right now you can Grab a pair of these for pretty much Under retail or just above so because of That I really don't think there's going To be that much hype for these guys or Maybe there's a bunch of pairs available I'm not sure it's probably a bit of both But either way I don't think this Sneaker is going to sell out although I Do think it's an incredibly clean Release and if you can grab a pair of These for retail or even better under Retail I think in a couple years it's Going to be a shoe that people will be Mad that they missed out on but for Right now I still have to give this shoe A Sit moving on to January 20th we've Got the Air Jordan 2 python this shoe Looks a lot like the black and sale Air Jordan TW that I talked about earlier on In the month however this shoe is not a Women's only release it's a men's
Release and instead of featuring a black Panel on the midfoot of the shoe it Features a python panel or I guess a Faux python skin panel it comes in like Grays and blacks other than that python Hit you've got a white leather upper and A cream midsole and some red hits around The sneaker but that's about it again It's a pair of Air Jordan 2s it's a Colorway that I don't think anyone's Going to care about and it's another Release that I'm like why are you Dropping this I'm sure they're going to Make money from it it's not like they're Going to lose money on this shoe but Still give us something cleaner than This this is just such a blah release And I hate to say it most of the Jordan Releases this month kind of suck there Is a couple that are fire which I'll Talk about a little bit later on in the Video and we've already talked about one Of them but this one in particular it Just kind of sucks and there's a lot of Other sucky Jordans that have released This month so I don't know January is a Slower month for Jordan brand oh of Course I definitely think the shoe is Going to sit on shelves and probably be At Outlets like a week after release Next up on January 22nd we've got the Niky ja onean Chinese New Year I think It's fair to say that jaar's last couple Months have been tumultuous uh he's done
Done some things that are stupid and He's played really good basketball and It sucks that he can't just do the Basketball thing without the stupid part But apparently he can't but even with All that he does release a pretty solid Sneaker the Jawan is a good basketball Shoe and the retail price of this Sneaker is 110 bucks which makes it very Competitive and I will say that this Chinese New Year colorway is fire it Comes in a pretty much entirely white Upper accident by gold hits and it's Super wearable super clean and one of The best budget basketball sneakers out There but even though I think this might Be one of the best looking sneakers Releasing this month I don't think it's Going to be one of the most hyped up Sneakers and so for that reason I'm Giving this shoe a Sit then dropping on January 23rd we've got the Nike attack Game royals so the Nike attack has had a Revival over the last couple months it's John Mack Andro signature sneaker with Nike we've had a Travis collab we've had A bunch of good colorways release and it Looks like Nike is continuing with the Roll out of this shoe with this white And blue sneaker while yes the Mac Attack is a pretty clean shoe and Probably one of the most iconic tennis Sneakers of all time it's not a shoe That I think has that much hype behind
It I mean shoot even the Travis got Collaboration sold out but isn't really Reselling for much so to say that this Shoe would sell out would be a lie I Don't think this sneaker is going to Sell out I do think it's very clean I do Think it's very wearable and if you Don't have a pair of attacks yet maybe Grab this release you could probably get It for under retail a couple weeks after Release but who knows but yeah I do Think the sneaker is going to sit even Though I think it's a clean release and One that I wouldn't mind picking up for Myself finally rounding off the month on The 24th with probably the most hyped up Release of the month we've got the Air Jordan one low Year of the Dragon last Year's year of the rabbit Air Jordan one Low was one of the most popular sneakers Of the year and honestly one of the most Expensive sneakers of the year cuz it Resold for between $600 to $1,000 I Think it still is reselling for that and It wasn't just that the shoe was Incredibly limited which it was but the Materials used on the shoe were solid And the colorway was super clean and I Think all of those things will be the Same this year with the Year of the Dragon Air Jordan one Lowe's I think the Shoe will be incredibly limited like Last year I think the colorway on this Shoe is super clean the greens and the
Sort of copper colors and the whites Used on the sneaker very very wearable And the materials while not as Interesting as last year definitely seem Like good materials for a pair of Air Jordan one Low's I'm really not the Biggest faux snake skin fan but I do Think that this sort of olive color faux Snake skin overlay works on the sneaker It makes sense with the story The Year Of the Dragon and of course the gold Hits on the shoe like on the heel and on The insole really Hammer home the Chinese New Year theming I think it's a Wellone sneaker I would like to have a Pair but most likely it's going to be Very difficult to get usually when they Release they either release exclusively In China or through retailers that I'm Not aware of but it's not going to be an Easy shoe to grab and so for that reason I'm giving this shoe is sale that being Said if you do want to grab a pair of These you can grab it through the YouTube shopping tab on your screen but Probably going to have to pay resale for It in fact definitely going to have to Pay resale for it but hey that pretty Much wraps up all the releases that we Know about right now in January 2024 I'm Filming this on the last day of December 2023 so there might be some releases That we don't know about just yet that Might happen at the end of the month I
