In the latest installment of Shoe Care Academy, Vick Almighty is cleaning the Jae Tips x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 “To-Do List” in the pink colorway.
If you’ve been up to date on the channel, this isn’t Vick’s first interaction with the shoe, as he previously worked on a “What The Jae Tips?” custom for the man himself, combing the Tan and Pink colorway of the “To-Do List” series. For those who don’t know Jae Tips, he’s been in the sneaker and music industries for a while. The Bronx Savior rose to popularity in 2019 with his Bespoke Nike Air Force 1.
The colorful pair paved the way for collaborations with Hat Club and Saucony, bringing energy to the brand like never before. His first release was the Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Azura 2000 “Remember Who Fronted” as a reminder to those who slept on him and his vision.
Since then, Jae Tips has released four more shoes, two of which were released at ComplexCon just a few weeks ago.
For this video, Vick Almighty will show you how to clean the pink pair using the best that Reshoevn8r has to offer.
Vick will utilize the Signature Shoe Cleaning Kit to clean these properly. To start, Vick unlaces the shoe and removes the insole to clean those separately. Vick then places the Shoe Trees, a Microfiber towel, a bowl with water, a Dry Rack and bowl combo, and all three brushes: Soft Bristle Brush, Medium Bristle Brush, and Stiff Bristle Brush. The cleaning station for this Shoe Care Academy will also need a bottle of solution and our signature Shoe Laundry Cleaning Kit.
Vick places the Shoe Trees into each shoe to help keep the pair’s shape during the cleaning. Vick grabs the Soft Bristle Brush to perform a dry brush on the upper to kickstart the cleaning. Then, Vick uses the air compressor to get any excess dirt and grime with force.
Now, the fun begins. Vick adds a couple of drops of our all-natural Solution into the water bowl. He uses the Soft Bristle Brush again to work on the upper and then the inside of the shoe. Then, using the Medium Bristle Brush, Vick cleans the midsole and the synthetic areas of the shoe delicately without snagging the mesh materials. Using the Medium Bristle Brush, the insoles receive a proper clean as well.
To finish the cleaning before throwing it in the washer, Vick applies extra pressure to the outsole with the Stiff Bristle Brush. Then, the shoe laces are dipped into the water bowl with the solution before the final step.
The shoes and laces get placed into the Laundry Bag and thrown into the washer along with our Laundry Sneaker Pod. After a proper cycle and drying, the shoe looks as good as new.

What's up everybody welcome back to the Channel this is Vic Almighty with Another episode of shoe care Academy now I'm very familiar with these shoes for Keeping up with the channel a few weeks Back I took these and the tampire Completely apart to make what I like to Call the what the J tips today I'm going To be doing something a little bit more Simpler than that and I show you the Proper way on how to clean up these Sakon pink to-do list ony NS by J tips Let's get to Work now like I mentioned I took the Pink and tan version and I matched them Together to make one we had a sick Collaboration at Comic toown with JPS we Wanted to give him something really cool So basically what I did was I swapped The soles the insoles the laces the Tongues the socony logos with each other To the point where the shoes kind of Made you do a double take the guys here Rejuvenator gifted the shoes to him he Was psyed on how they turned out he was Really cool and signed the original Souls back on one of them he put a to-do List the new way and then the second he Put tovc thank you both signed by J tips At some point I got to display these Here in the studio if you haven't Already check out the video they came Out super sick now for this project We're going to be using our renator
Signature shoe cleaning kit to get them Fully clean and setting out now one Thing I really like about Runner sneak ERS doesn't matter the brand such as Nike Adidas as6 sakon Hoka Cloud9 they All for the most part use the same mesh Materials making it really easy to clean Using our laundry system if it contains Suede or some other materials that can Bleed onto the other materials I will Proceed with a different direction now These shoes don't contain any suede or Other areas that can bleed onto other Materials so the pre-treatment and Larning system will get these looking Brand new again to get this started I'm Going to put this shoe to the side and Focus on the left for before after Purposes I'm also going to take out the Shoelace and insole to clean those up Separately and set up my cleaning Station [Music] My station's all set up got my towel Right here shoe tree bowl with water dry Rack and Bowl combo with all three Brushes soft medium and stiff got my Cleaning mat as well to keep everything Nice and neat and of course our 100% Natural 4 oz bottle solution laundry bag And pod to successfully clean up these Sneakers to start I'm going to pop in The shoe tree there isn't much creasing On the toe box but this is going to
Allow me to apply pressure during the Cleaning with the soft bristle brush This is also going to help retain the Shape of the shoe while it's in the Washing machine Now it's really important to get the Correct sizing of the Sho tree before You insert into the shoe at the moment It's on point let me show you what it Looked like and correct just by moving It up a size as I insert it inside the Shoe I can see pressure being applied to The toe box if I leave the shoe tree in Way too long it's going to create some Weird creases let me show you now on the Flip side if it size too small it's not Going to do anything and there's a good Chance it's just going to fall right out During the washing machine process all Prep let's get started with this Cleaning as always I'm going to be using Our soft bristle brush with no solution Or water to dry brush this entire Sneaker inside a out this makes a huge Difference never skip this step cuz all You're going to do with the water and Solution is push down deeper that Surface dust and grime making it harder To clean up the sneaker I'm also going To be using the compressor to help blow Off any surface dust Grime and debris Out of the Sneaker good to go with that let's go to The compressor to blow off the insole
Shoelace while we're at it the shoe the Sof bristle brush to get going with the [Music] Cleaning now I'm ready to go I'm going To grab some solution Square two squirts Inside the bowl of water two squirts is All you need put this to the side put This to the side I'm only going to be Focusing on the uppers starting with the Saw bristle brush once I get the upper All cleaned up I'm going move on to the Insides as always I'm going to be Starting with the sof bristle brush Especially with these Runners most of These sneakers contain mesh materials You don't want to use the medium bristle Brush cuz most of the time it snacks and Material best to use a Soft all right so I just finished Scrubbing down the inside that part is Just as important as the outside of the Sneaker a lot of back IA and sweat Builds up in the sock laner in the Insole and all those areas it's best to Give all those areas a good scrub down So the washing machine can flush out the Rest of the bacteria now I think I'm Done with the soft bristle brush I'm Going let this dry in the rack next Brush I'm going to be using is the Medium bristle I'm only going to be Using this brush on the midle I'm also Going to scrub down the synthetic areas Without letting the bristles touch the
Pink mesh so it doesn't snag or Fray the Material now the medium bristle brush is A step up from the stop bristle brush Always my go-to when it comes to leather Uppers MLS or any shoe that contains Plastic or the type of materials [Music] Now the shoes almost done I just got to Take care of the outsoles I'm going to Put this to the side real quick and Focus on the insole just because I still Have the medium bristle brush I'm going To give this a good scrub down so I can Put this away [Music] Ins so's nice and clean the washing Machine will take care of the rest Before I move on to the St Bristal brush Let me tell you about JPS he's a Multi-talented creative and sneaker Designer although he started out making Music in high school and now has 13 Albums in his discography his both style And vibrant storytelling has led to in Crafting some of the most unique sneaker Designs to date including his unofficial Bepoke Air Force 1es back in 2019 while Making music and building his clothing Brand savior JPS has also made numerous Contributions to the fitted hat Community and his various class Club and New air collabs since then he's been Inspiring fashion enthusiasts and Reshaping strear with his collabs like
His New Age release no shoes in the House now to get back to this cleaning I'm going to finish it off using the S Bristal brush before we put it in the Washing Machine now to get the outs as clean as Possible this is the one brush you want To apply as much pressure as you can the More pressure you apply the cleaner Results you're going to get you also Want to brush in all directions circular Or back and forth you want to brush in All directions all around the so to get It complete clean good to go with this Brush all I has to do before I put this Stuff ins the washing machine is to Pre-treat the shelace I'm going to grab The leftover water and solution dip it Inside and give it a good Scrub pre-treatment is fully complete I'm going to put everything inside or SEC your laundry bag this is going to Protect the shoe from bouncing all Around the washing Machine Dam Shoes fully cleaned up and dried this Shoe looks brand new from the beginning I knew I wasn't going to have any issues At all thanks to the materials they used On this sneaker granted the shoe isn't That old it only came out a couple Months ago the dirt grime and stains Didn't sit that long on the materials Making it a lot easier during the
Pre-treatment to wash away the washing Machine took care of the rest in this Situation where you pre-treat the shoes Put them in the washing machine and you Get them out and there still stains all Over the sneakers I will simply go back One more time with the soft so brush and Focus heavily on those areas put the Shoes in the washing machine one more Time and you should get the results you Want again the materials on this shoe Are not delicate so this shoe can Survive more than one wash cycle however Do your best during the first spring Treatment so you don't have to waste a Bunch of time and water if the shoe You're cleaning up at home contains Delicate materials such as suede or Leather be very careful putting the shoe In the washing machine multiple times Cuz it can get damaged due to Oversaturation now let's La them up All right guys that's going to bring us To an end on this full deep clean on the Sakon Ami 9s honestly I wish all Cleaning were like this one to pull this One off was extremely easy thanks to our Rejuvenator signature shoe cleaning kit I used all three brushes soft medium and Stiff to clean the shoe inside and out Then I put the shoe inside a sneaker Lining system put them in the washing Machine to complete the process the Colors on the uppers are back to being
