The Jumpman Jacks released just a couple months ago and before you say it… YES we got them this dirty! We picked up this slightly used pair on eBay and trashed it to show anyone who picked up the Travis Scott Jumpman Jacks the best way to clean this pair. For today’s episode of Shoe Care Academy we put Vick Almighty to the test on this mixed material sneaker using the Reshoevn8r Essential Cleaning Kit.

The Jumpman Jacks feature a number of different materials from mesh to leather and even suede, so we needed to go about this cleaning carefully. Check out these step by step directions for the best clean.

Cleaning Steps:
1. Remove laces and insoles from the shoe. The main benefit of this is to give yourself a blank surface to be able to clean in every nook and cranny of the shoe. This also allows you to clean from the inside out and ultimately disinfect the sneaker.

2. Remove surface dirt and grime. For this step we used the dry brush method and an air compressor, but you can do it with just a brush or head to the car wash. The benefit of this is that you are not pushing the dirt further into the materials. Suede and mesh are already hard to clean and you don’t want to overcomplicate it!

3. Insert your adjustable Shoe Tree. These adjust to a size 13; plus we have our extended option as well. This tool helps allow you to put more pressure on the toe box during the cleaning to get deeper into the materials. It also helps remove some of the creasing from the toe box area and ultimately reshape the sneaker as the cleaning process happens.

4. Begin the cleaning process. For this step you will add 2 squirts of Solution to a 4 ounce bowl of water. Next you will clean the entire upper using the Soft Bristle Brush to remove the rest of the dirt. While doing this make sure to pat dry as you go to ensure you don’t oversaturate the materials.

5. The midsoles and outsoles. For this step you will need the Medium and Stiff Brush to fully remove all of the grime that has attached itself to the rubber materials. This takes a little bit more man power and elbow grease. Scrub the sneaker in a circular motion and wipe as you go until you reach your desired results.

6. The lace clean. In order to take care of these white laces Vick used the brushes and natural solution to remove all of the grease prior to rinsing them off in the sink.

7. Now it is time to dry. In order to get the best dry on a pair of shoes we recommend the sun or setting the shoes in front of a fan. This allows for an even dry and will help you avoid any water marking on materials such as suede or nubuck.

8. Resetting the nap. After you clean suede materials you will notice they loose their buttery soft texture, but for the most part it is reversible. To do this Vick used a dry medium brush and moved it in multiple directions until we had a buttery smooth swoosh.

Now it seems like quite a few steps, but it is easy! Now you know the best method to clean the Travis Scott Jumpman Jacks using the Reshoevn8r Essential Cleaning Kit. Don’t forget to drop a comment about your favorite Jumpman Jack release!

Are you a fan of the Travis Scott Releases if so this video is for you Today we're going to be taking care of These trash Travis Scott jum and Jacks for this cleaning we're going to Have to go about it very carefully it Does contain a lot of different Materials leather mesh and suede So Today we're going to be using our Rejuvenator essential shoe cleaning kit That comes with all three brushes soft Medium and stiff our solution and a Towel first things first I'm going to Put the left shoe to the side and take Out the laces and Insole before we insert the Sho tree Inside the shoe we got to go next door And use the compressor and use a dry Brush to brush off as much of the Surface dust off the shoe as possible we Don't want to push it in deeper into the Material using water and a solution cuz That's only going to make it worse to go About it right we're going to use the Compressor and do a lot of dry brushing Same thing with the insole and the lace [Music] Good to go with the brushing and the Compressor they already look a lot Better when it comes to the compressor I Know most people don't have one if you Need to you could go to the car wash They have one for free I know it's kind Of ridiculous but it works to start this

Process I'm going to grab the Sho tree Adjust it to the size and put it inside The shoe this is going to help eliminate The little creasing that it has and It'll help help me apply pressure on the Toe box during the Cleaning next I'm going to grab our 4 o Bottle solution and squirt two squirts Inside our bowl of water you don't need Much this stuff is highly Concentrated like I mentioned before There's a lot of different materials on The upper you have some brown mesh brown Leather off-white Leather Cream Suede And some light gray suede for the most Part looking at these shoes the material Shouldn't bleed typically mesh never Bleeds same thing with the leather the Only concern I might have is the cream SSH but typically that doesn't bleed Either I just got to be very careful to Not fade too much of the color I'm going To start off by using our most delicate Brush first and that's our soft bristle Brush I'm going to dunk it in some Solution and brush in a circular motion All around the sneaker however I don't Want oversaturated as I go I'm be Patting it down dry [Music] Oras are good to go just by using the Soft bristle brush I took my time on it Didn't oversaturate the material and it Paid off everything looks good now we're

Going to move on to the medium bristle Brush and take care of the mle pretty Simple stuff I'm just going to scrub in A circular motion as [Music] Well one of my favorite things about This shoe is a sole I know for a fact That was inspired by Yeezy to I like [Music] It mels are all cleaned up while I have The medium bristle brush let's take care Of the All uppers are good to go before we move On to the soles and use a sers so brush On the bottom there's a big piece of gum I'm going to try to remove it using Little bit of googan I'm going to spray A little bit right on top of the gum I Don't want to spray too much cuz it can Drip onto the uppers and potentially Cause some damage I'm going to let it Sit for like about 30 seconds to a Minute then with the pck start scraping At it For the stal brush to get the best Results it's all about applying pressure Especially on the sols on this so Specifically it had a big piece of gum So I'm just really focusing on that area Shoe is complete same thing with the Insole all that's left is the shoelace I Got some fresh new water the old water Was disgusting thanks to the soles I'm Going to squirt a little bit more

Solution and give the laces a good scrub La is complete all that has to do is to Give it a good rinse and then put Everything outside we live in Arizona So Within 15 minutes the shoe should dry Keep in mind if you're drying your shoes Outside and it's really hot to not put Them out there way too long cuz they Will Separate all right shoes fully dried Same thing with the insole and Lace There's still a couple things left to do Before we lace it up the swish is on Both sides of the sneak our suede same Thing with this back area it's a little Rough so I'm going to use the medium Bristle brush to go back and forth on The suede to get it back to its original Soft Texture all right both swishes are good To go this is a good quality shoe with Nice materials good thing about this Sneaker is it doesn't bleed so when you Guys clean the shoe at home there should Be no issues at all now when it comes to My projects it's all about the details Almost every time after I clean the lace And dry it it's always wrinkled this Step only takes a couple of minutes I'm Going to use this little iron to iron Them out it'll get them nice and flat so When I lace them up it has a nice clean Look All right let's lace them up so far Nike

And Travis goad released two colorways The university Reds and this pair I Personally like the university Reds a Lot more that red check with the black Toe box is super clean of me let me know In the comments which color way you like More all right guys that's going to Bring us to an end on this full cleaning Of these jum man Jacks this is a Straightforward cleaning you guys should Have no problem at home cleaning these Up none of the materials bleed just take Your time and don't oversaturate the Shoe that's key for this cleaning I Started off this cleaning by using a dry Brush and the compressor to remove all The surface dust again that's an Important step anytime you're doing any Cleaning after that we got straight into The process we use the shoe tree to Eliminate the creasing on the toe box we Used all three brushes the soft bristle Brush which is the most delicate it took Care of the uppers no problem medium Bristle brush for the midsoles we also Used it to scrub the insole and at the End once it was all dried we reset the Nap on the suede on both swooshes the Stier so brush took care of the outsole And the final step for press Presentation I iron out the laces it's a Quick step but it makes a world of a Difference you can find all the products That I use in this video at rat.com you
