Yo what's up guys I've got a new pair of Sneakers one of the most hyped up Sneakers of the year and I'm going to Give you guys a full review in today's Video obviously you already know what it Is because you've seen the title in the Thumbnail but this is my first time ever Seeing this shoe and I'm really stoked To see what it looks like in person I've Been waiting to buy this shoe cuz I Didn't want to spend resale on it but I Was like you know what the longer I wait The more well the less exciting it's Going to get to be honest with you so I Just spent the money got it from Soul Steels for I think like 650 we'll find Out if that was a good deal or not as we Get closer to the release date of The Shoe you guys already know what it is Based on just the box so we've got the Jumpman box the Jumpman Jack box now This is a completely new silhouette from Travis Scott and Jordan brand it's his First signature silhouette and uh it's Called the Jumpman Jack there was Apparently a couple different names for This shoe and they finally landed on Jumpman Jack and I feel like that's a That's a decent name not offensive Nothing wrong with it don't mind it but Before we dig into the sneakers let's Take a look at the Box obviously it Comes in this nice brown box right here It's a pretty heavy duty like it feels
Like a stiff thick cardboard you've got The the Jumpman I don't know what to Call these like apostrophes sunrays I'm Not sure on the top of the box in a Cream obviously the box is the same Color or the same color way as the Sneakers themselves you've got Jumpman Written in the side and sort of a gloss Cream I think on both sides of the Box Actually and then on one side you've got Jack the sun rays and then you've got Sort of a cut through the first level of Cardboard or layer of cardboard which Actually does look like a very thick Cardboard we got a red Jumpman logo Right there and on the other side you've Actually got the size tag but it's on The interior box and there's a cutout Through to see the size tag which I Think is pretty cool now I grabb a size Nine and I usually do that because That's my true size which makes sense Because you usually buy your own sneaker Size when you buy a pair of shoes for Yourself but the reason I usually buy a Size n even if I know that the shoe Might fit big or small is to give you Guys an honest try on of the shoe to let You guys know well hey if you buy it in Your true size it might not fit or it Might fit or so whatever I don't know Anything about this shoe yet I'll be Honest with you I read the sneakers app Description I didn't watch anyone else's
Reviews and uh so I have no idea how it Fits I have no idea how it feels in hand I have no idea how it looks on foot That's not sure I've seen pictures but Still the official colorway of this shoe Is sale muslin dark mocha and the Official name of this shoe is Jumpman Jack TR possibly standing for trail not 100% sure but uh let's open the box Together shall we I'm very excited about This Inside the Box you got red looks Like the paper says Jack in sort of Tonal Browns you've got Cactus Jack Right there on either of the long sides Of the Box oh they come in a dust bag all right They are actually in the dust bag Sometimes they give you a dust bag and The shoes aren't actually in there they Just give you the dust bag and show you What it could look like if your shoes Were in there but we've got this sort of Tote bag which I guess is also a dust Bag you've got uh these really nice Orange dipped lace tips I love dust bags I think they're awesome I think it's a Nice accessory but I've never once in my Life used dust bag ever maybe for like My Gucci dress shoes but I spent like $1,000 on those and their dress shoes so And I only did it the first or second Time I wore them and then now you know Having worn them like 30 plus times I Don't do that anymore uh and I don't
Think I'm ever going to use this dust Bag either there are some nice details On this DS bag you've got an embroidered Jumpman you can actually see all his Little fingers right there you've got an Embroidered Travis Scott Happy Face First Impressions of the Shoes they don't smell like regular Jordans actually they smell less gluey Could be a good sign says the Jack Graphic will wear off with use over time That was actually uh a feature that they Mentioned on the sneakers app I'm not Kidding they tattered it as a feature They said the wear away Jack graphic on The bottom of the shoe so I guess if you Have a problem you can't fix might as Well make it a feature right I guess I'm Asking these shoes by ripping this paper But whatever this paper actually also is Jack branding on it as well does this Shoe have the same sticker it does now In this review I'm obviously going to be Trying these shoes on wearing them Around getting people's opinions on them That's always important you can like a Shoe but if you wear them somewhere and Someone's like yo those shoes suck even If you still like the shoe you might Think twice about throwing them on again So I'm going to get a couple people's Opinions and then give you guys my Opinions because that's why you watch These
Videos these are actually kind of clean I don't hate these I don't hate these I Was reserving judgment until I actually Got them in hand and uh I don't hate Them I'm not going to lie to you these Are actually kind of clean I am going to Talk more about this in the review Obviously but one thing that kind of Scares me about these shoes it doesn't Scare me but one thing that I think Could happen with the Jumpman Jack Silhouette is that whenever Jordan brand Releases like a lifestyle sneaker that's Not a classic retro it always bombs Maybe the first colorway of the shoe Will sell out but then the remaining Ones will will sit and then go for under Retail and go on sale things like that I Think this does have the potential to do That because we've seen that there have Been Travis Scott collaborations that Have completely bombed for example the Uh the Mac attacks or the trainers even The Air Maxes shoes that uh that were Solid but they didn't really have that Same sort of hype level that obviously The Travis Scot Air Jordan once had or The fours or things like that so I think These have the potential but from what I'm hearing these shoes are just Incredibly limited so possibly what Jordan Brand's plan is is to release a Couple colorways of this shoe in Incredibly limited quantities and then
Start releasing them in slightly larger Quantities when the hype Builds on the Silhouette so that's my thought as to What they're doing but we won't know for Sure for the next couple months until we Get a couple more colorways of these Shoes all that being said why don't we Throw these guys on feet say how they Feel and then get some people's opinions All right new day new shoes what do you Think do you have any guests who they're By like maybe this would help it's Upside Down who's that dated um Kylie Jenner Rapper Travis Scott this Travis Scott's Shoes so these are Travis Scott's new uh Signature shoes with Jordan brand Usually it's a collaboration on like a Pair of Jordans but he has his own like Shoe now you know how there's like the Nike Yeezys and stuff like that this is Like the Jordan Travis Scott I still I Don't know why it says Jack on the Bottom Cactus Jack it's like his brand So it's the Jumpman Jacks cuz Jordan Cactus Jack uh and then also a feature Of this shoe apparently according to Nike is that the Jack actually wears off The more that you wear it it's cool yeah Well I think it just wears off and they Just want to call it a feature okay so Let's try these guys on I've never tried These on I have no idea how these are
Going to fit hopefully they fit your to Size cuz I spent 650 bucks um also I've Got the new Apothecary together Skateboarding socks which Ben loves Obviously actually he likes the shoes um Yeah these together skateboarding socks We released first at the pop-up shop in Philly if you guys weren't there you Missed out on a bunch of awesome things Like we gave away sneakers it was sick It was awesome um but these socks are Releasing officially on our website Apothecare Doom this Friday check them Out 11:00 a.m. eastern time let's try on The shoes not bad feel like dunks a Little bit not much cushion in the Midsole at all it really feels like here Throwing on a pair of dunks or Jordan Ones or something yeah really not a lot Of cushion but they're not bad they're Not uncomfortable um but I would say True to size at least from what I can Tell I have normal width feet like not Narrow not wide they feel fine Nike Sneakers tend to be pretty much on point With sizing so just say go true to size You should be good I mean you might just Have to grab whatever size you can but What do you think on foot how do you Feel yeah I was going to say they look Nice on foot do they yeah awesome yeah So they've got a strap I don't know how You feel about straps like I'm 30 Something and I don't know if 30
Something year olds still wear straps It's stylish is it you could tighten I Guess the tow the sneaker it doesn't Doesn't tighten that much you could Loosen it I guess if you wanted to kind Of have like sort of a loose strap feel Vibe but it doesn't really do anything Sizing wise this far down on the shoe They look nice with the pants yeah they Do the Apothecary pants huh whole Apothecary fit today actually very nice Nice yeah thank you what would you rate These out of 10 yeah I don't know They're kind of nice kind of nice yeah So so that's a five seven really okay I Was going to say six or seven okay so Here they are the Jumpman Jack TR in Sale and dark mocha the first signature Sneaker from Travis Scott and Jordan Brand and yes you may have noticed the Setup is different I'm trying something Different let me know your thoughts on It in the comment section down below I Really liked it for the unboxing that we Did and I figured why not try it out for The review so that's what we're doing Here but getting back into the sneakers The Jumpman Jack TRS officially released In the sale and dark mocha colorway on April 30th for a retail price of $200 Now they did already release an Incredibly limited quantities during the Grammys on Travis Scott's website but I Don't really count that as a release cuz
It was like a couple hundred Pairs and No one really got them in fact for the Months after that Grammy release the Shoes were going for like $2,000 to $3,000 depending on size thankfully They've now dropped down to around $500 Resale uh which is around what I paid For this pair I paid $650 now as we get Closer to the release of prices are Dropping precipitously so if IID waited I probably could have saved a couple Hundred bucks but I didn't cuz I wanted To give you guys an ear ear review and If you guys like these early reviews Make sure to show us some support by Hitting that subscribe button right There I may have to work out the Lighting situation I'm just realizing That now give me one second how is that Is that any better that is actually Better so like I mentioned the Travis Scott Jumpman Jack TRS are Travis Scott's first actual signature sneaker With Jordan brand he's done a lot of Collaborations in the past on pairs of Air Jordan 4s Air Jordan 1es uh Mac Attacks all sorts of different Sneakers But this is the first one that he Designed or created from scratch and Looking at it up close you really start To notice some of the Inspirations that Were taken from other sneakers like this Is obviously a Nike Dunk and Air Jordan 1 inspired sneaker that said he could
Have used worse sneakers as Inspirations But you can definitely see the Inspiration on this shoe now this Actually reminds me a lot of the Nike a Yeezys it released back in like the Early 2010s that was a sneaker created By Kanye West with Nike that was his own Silhouette this is the same sort of Thing and like this shoe parts of the Design of that sneaker in fact even just Straight up parts of that shoe were Taken from other Nike sneakers so I Definitely don't think that the fact That this shoe was inspired by other Sneakers is a negative and according to Travis Scott this shoe was designed Specifically to do nothing specific Everything basically it's a lifestyle Shoe you can wear this shoe to do Anything according to Travis Scott I Don't know if I'd recommend doing Anything in this shoe like hiking Running or playing basketball but I mean I guess cuz the outo is kind of flat With some traction details you might be Able to play basketball in this shoe Relatively easily uh but running Probably not ideal now I will say that Jordan brand kind of has this history of Creating lifestyle sneakers that are not Retro Jordans which I think I already Mentioned earlier on in the video but I Want to reiterate because this is Exactly that those new lifestyle Jordan
Sneakers tend to flop and I wouldn't say Because they're bad sneakers I think Some of them are definitely uglier than Other shoes in the market they're just Never anything that exciting or that Special and I'll be honest as a shoe This shoe technologically is nothing That exciting or that different I mean It looks like a pair of dunk mids Realistically but because this shoe has Travis Scott's name behind it that could Give this shoe the push that it needs to Become a sought after lifestyle model But I do think that Jordan brand is Positioning the silhouette to be far More popular because they're starting The shoe off incredibly limited and then We'll probably increase the stock as we Go probably significantly more limited Than really a lot of the other Travis Scot collaborations so there's Definitely a lot to unpack here it's a Sneaker that I'm very very excited about Because it's something new from Jordan Brand and I actually do really like the Way that it looks will I wear it all the Time probably not but I will throw it on Here and there cuz I feel like it's a Clean look and especially in this sale Dark mocha colorway it's very wearable And it's very reminiscent of some of the Most popular Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Collaborations but before we dive any Deeper into the review and check out the
Materials that make up this shoe the Comfort of this shoe and even talk more About the sizing let me first get some People's opinions on this brand new Silhouette away all right so I'm Bringing this pair of travises to the Apothecary office to get some people's Opinions see what they think of it from Our sneaker connoisseurs so got a pair Of shoes to show you let's see it do you Have any guess from the box this is the Um I don't know what they're called but It's the like that trainer Travis right Yeah true I did remove some of the paper So it's less paper than usual But they're in the bag you know what This is apparently TS is what it says in The sneakers app in English yeah I don't Know if they're for me but they're cool I mean they look like the the ones would You rock these yeah they were in front Of my front door when they drop on the 30th you're not going to buy them no Really I won't I mean they're cool I Rather have the Jordan one yeah fair Enough what would you give them out of 10 five they're that low that low I mean A feature according to the sneakers app Is that the text in the bottom rubs Off thought you like that what is the Bottom I don't know I've been wondering That too what did they try to make I Thought it was one of those like Daniel Aram like concrete thing be like that
But I don't know for sure I feel like That's probably what cuz it looks like Just like an eroded sole regular Soul oh The same as the uh oh yeah same as the Outsole yep it's literally the same as Outle yeah it's exactly same yeah you Know with Air Max ones if you take out The insole the in the bottom of the Insole has the printing of the outsole On it or like the the done that it's Cool if you have Air Max ones here I can Show you I might do I might have a pair Yeah you know that what the bottom of The insole is the bottom of the shoe oh W that's cool pretend like it's Completely Sealed do you know what these are oh I Overheard you guys So I got an idea oh the bag is cool I Like the color way I don't know if I Like the shoe oo okay would you buy it For 200 on the sneakers app are they Reselling I'm not a big Travis guy so Fair enough the colorway is really cool But I don't know how I feel about the Strap the midsole and outle would you Wear a different color way like there's A a white and like I think there's a new Color way coming out where it's like White black and then red is my guess Would you rock that maybe well like I Don't know I really like this with the Browns what you give it out of 10 for me Maybe like a four ooh that's love oh
Okay okay dang what would you give like The regular Travis one Low's like the Mocha Travis one Lowe's I think I give Those like a seven okay so you're Ranking everything a little bit lower Than the Travis Spectrum gotcha okay Like I don't want it just for the hype Right but like the colorway is really Nice but now let's dig a little bit Deeper into the Travis Scott Jumpman Jack TR starting off with the materials Around the toe of the sneaker on the Mudu guard you've got this off-white Colored leather which actually has their Ends flipped or curled to create a more Rounded and finished look and it's Actually really interesting the way that They did this they only rounded the Edges of the leather on certain panels On the lateral side of the toe it didn't Do it anywhere else in the shoe to show You guys what I'm talking about this is One of the reasons why I like this new Camera setup so much you can see stuff So much easier but on these leather Panels they've got a rounded Edge However on the medial side of the shoe The leather panels have an unfinished Edge which is a lot more close to what We usually have on other Jordan sneakers Now I'm not sure exactly why they only Did it on the lateral side of the shoe And not on the medial side of the shoe But for whatever reason that's what they
Did the leather around the mud guard of The shoe seems fine it's nicely tumbled It's not anything spectacular but it's Definitely not as bad as some of the Other Leathers that they use as you move To the toe area of the shoe you find the First dark mocha hit which is actually Dark mocha canvas actually feels rougher Than most canvases that you find on Shoes it's more burlapp than uh I think Most canvases are but I don't mind it Continuing up in the shoe you get some More off-white colored leather around The eye stay of the sneaker and of Course on the ice day you also have the Unfinished edges which do show the grain Of the leather and for some people who Really like leather that's a good thing Now I will say that the grain based on From what I know about grains of leather Shows that this is not the nicest Leather in the world but no mass Produced sneaker usually uses the nicest Leather in the world but uh it's not bad I mean it really does feel like this Shoe is more premium than other $200 Nike sneakers and Jordan sneakers I Would definitely suggest if you want to Learn about the Leathers that are used In Nike and Jordan sneakers check out Rose Anvil's Channel he does an amazing Job where he cuts open all the sneakers And actually digs in deep with a Microscope into the Leathers that are
Used in the shoe so he can tell you Exactly which pairs have nice leather And which pairs don't wrapping over the Forefoot of the shoe you've got this Strap which definitely seems to be Inspired from the Nike Air Trainer 1 Another shoe that Travis Scott has Collaborated on in fact the more that I Look at it the entire shape of this Silhouette definitely seems to mimic That of the Air Trainer one it's sort of Like a midtop not totally High shape Actually lower than the Air Trainer ones At least based on the image that I'm Looking at and the more that you look at It the more that you realize that a lot Of the details on this shoe mimic a lot Of the sneakers that he's collaborated On in the past which is kind of cool This is almost like a history lesson Into Travis Scott collaborations however Compared to other Jordan sneakers that Are mashups of shoes like the uh the Juston 312s this shoe I think will be a Lot more successful the strap comes in That same off-white colored leather You've got this embroidery detail this Like super heavy 3D embroidery detail Which according to the sneakers app is Travis Scott's TS branding I honestly Wouldn't have guessed that that was a TS Logo if the sneakers app didn't tell me I'm sure there are Travis stands out There who knew that but I just didn't
Know that this strap is relatively Functional it does tighten the forefoot Of the shoe I don't feel like you really Need that because the shoe does fit Pretty much to the size like I already Said but if you do want to tighten the Forfeit of the shoe you can do that with The strap now something else that the Strap allows you to do is wear the shoe Differently like you can wear it kind of Open like this like Travis did in a Couple of his shoots you can just wear It completely open like this if you want To I mean you can cut it off if you Wanted to I probably wouldn't I actually Don't mind the way the strap looks I Personally am going to wear it closed Cuz I like how it's more subtle detail But you really can change up the way That you wear this shoe just depending On how you leave the strap underneath The strap you've got your flat white Laces which come pre- laced in the shoe They do also give you three other lace Options in the Box you've got a sail Lace a brown speckled lace and then sort Of more of a plain brown lace all of Which are fine I think if I was to Switch out I might go with the sale Colored lace cuz I'm a sucker for sale But they're all good underneath the Laces on the bottom half of the tongue You've got more of that dark mocha nylon Material and then towards the top of the
Tongue you've got some dark mocha Leather which actually has the Jumpman Logo embroidered in red you've also got The uh I don't know what to call that The Travis got like Brain Blast going on Above his head which is a cool detail Brain Blast yeah these could be some Jimmy Neutron shoes no they're cooler Than Jimmy Neutron Jimmy Neutron was Pretty cool though back in the day so I Don't know maybe that's not an insult And actually the leather on the tongue Feels pretty decent smells like leather Too actually the entire shoe smells like Leather which is not always the case They usually smell like glue in this cas Case I mean it's it's pretty decent it's Pretty nice I mean the more that I look At the shoe the higher quality it seems Moving inside the shoe you've got a Brown colored fabric sock liner which is Almost the same brown as the brown used On the canvas but slightly more greenish I don't know if that's just me but I Don't know on camera it looks more uh Red than green either way it's a Slightly different tone of brown not That it matters the insole on the inside Of the shoe comes in brown and cream It's got the same pattern that you find In the out soole we'll get to that later And then you've also got the Jump Man There on the heel in red also the insole Is a nice soft foam it's really the only
Padding that you get inside the shoe but It's still feels nice underneath your Foot yeah there's really not much Padding going on in the midsole of the Shoe are there any other hidden details Inside this shoe not really I do want to Check the production date to see when The shoe was manufactured it looks like This pair was manufactured or I guess All the pairs were manufactured between September 20th 2023 and November 20th 2023 which is interesting that is for The last pair that came off the Production line that is what basically 5 Months that they were sitting in a Warehouse or I guess getting shipped I Guess that seems about right you had the Initial pairs releasing in the Grammys And now you've got them releasing April 30 I think they were supposed to release Beginning of March that would have been 4 months so it makes sense as we talked About when I first tried these shoes on They do fit pretty much true to size That's what I found I'm a size nine I'm A true size nine and my feet are regular Width I got them like laser measured Over the last two years and I realized Like I'm just a pretty normal dude with Size 9 fet sizing wise these do fit me True to size that's what I recommend for You guys if you have wider feet maybe go Up half a size I think you're probably Doing that anyway with a lot of shoes if
You have wider feet but I think you're Probably fine going true to size if You're normal to smaller width feet or Narrow feet Comfort wise the Jumpman Jacks are nothing spectacular like I Mentioned they do feel a lot like a pair Of Nike Dunks or a pair of Air Jordans Which honestly is fine and it's Comfortable for most people I have no Problem wearing a pair of Jordan 1es or A pair of Nike Dunks all day it doesn't Bother me at all but uh keep that in Mind if you're trying to grab a pair of Shoes to rock all day and you like a Softer cushion that being said most People will be buying this because of The hype and not because of how it feels On feet so I don't know if you care About that but I just want to let you Guys know just in case you did as you Continue back on the sneaker you've got More of that canvas material on the Midfoot and then on top of that overlaid Over all of the panels you've got this Embroidered sail colored backwards Nike Swoosh which is a Travis Scott signature According to Dennis robman it's a Dennis Robman signature but no one really knew That until he said it at Sneaker conon So I feel like most people attributed it To Travis Scott although it has been Done on LeBron's and giannis's and other Sneaker Silhouettes it's most Recognizable on the Travis Scots as with
Most other pairs of Travis Scots you Have a smaller Nike Swoosh going the Right direction on the medial side of The shoe also in the sale color I think I prefer this oversized swoosh I Actually wouldn't have minded it if it Was even bigger like if it kind of went And got covered up by some of the mids Sole kind of like what you have on the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1es but it Doesn't look bad this way either it Wrapping around the entire heel area of The shoe you've got more of that sail Colored leather and interestingly enough Above that saale colored panel you've Actually got this different I guess Nuuk Panel or like foamy panel I don't know Exactly what this is of course in the Center of the heel you've got your Travis God smiley face embroidered in Red and then on the medial side of the Heel you've got another leather panel Stitched on for I guess added support Moving down on the shoe you get to this White I'm assuming foam midsole that is Very very stiff I don't know like it Says it doesn't really Prov provide much Cushioning there is a couple light glue Stains around the edge of the midsole But nothing major at least not that you Can see really because it's white on White wrapping up under the midsole of The shoe you get a little peak of the Semi-translucent gum outsole which I
Love I love gum outsoles I don't know Why I do and then finally moving to the Bottom of the sneaker you've got a Better look at the entire gum outsole Now I'm not sure exactly what this Traction pattern is supposed to be it Kind of looks like concrete that was Smashed up which is maybe what they're Going for I can't really find any Information on what this traction Pattern is supposed to be it could be Crumpled up paper it could be really Anything let me know in the comments Section down below if you know it's Possible that after the shoe releases Someone comes out and says oh it's based On a map of Utah He's not from Utah He's From Texas but whatever it is it seems Random although I don't think it is You've got this little Jumpman kind of Hidden there in the center debost into It of course you've got the Jack Branding printed onto the bottom of the Outsole which apparently is a feature of Wearing away over time that's a feature I call that a feature um I mean it Definitely has worn off a little bit so The feature is working I just don't know I don't know if I'd call it a feature Like it's not something I look at and go Oh sick the out Souls wearing that's Exactly what I wanted to happen yeah I Mean it has worn off a little bit on the Right shoe I guess I was pivoting on
This shoe a little bit more actually Wore off easier than I expected I was Expecting it to be stuck on there for a While but it seems like if you even just Wear this a couple times it's going to Wear off pretty quickly especially in The High Ridge areas I guess of course In like the divots and those sorts of Areas it's not going to ever come off But interesting I also thought that Maybe it'd say Cactus Jack on there Somewhere but apparently it doesn't you Just got Jack I think this is probably Going to be the case for most people but I prefer the sale dark mocha colorway it Maybe because they sort of primed us up For it with some of the other mocha Travis Scott Air Jordan One releases but This is the one that I think most people Will want so it makes sense that they're Releasing this colorway first now there Is apparently a white and red colorway Releasing on the 26th on Travis Scott's Website and I'm sure on sneakers app in The near future after that but this Mocha colorway will definitely be the Most popular of all the Jumpman Jack Colorways to release into the future Unless there's a colorway that's like Stupid limited or maybe a pair that like His friends and family that I don't know Gets released somehow who knows and yes A lot of that's hype but also I do think That this colorway on this particular
Silhouette actually does does look Really good now would this shoe sell Without Travis Scott's name attached to It I don't know that's hard to say I Think a lot of people would be giving it A lot of crap cuz you're like oh it's Just a mash up of dunks and Jordan Ones And while yes it is genuinely that I do Think people will give it a chance Because it's Travis Scott sneaker and Learn to love it like I really really Like this shoe a lot like I said it's Not going to be an everyday wear for me But it's something that I definitely Throw on on a regular basis because it's Very wearable very goodlooking and this Colorway is clean I'll be very Interested to see if the follow-up Colorways of this shoe have anywhere Near as much hype as this shoe uh most Likely will have when it finally Releases I doubt it I think the hype is Going to die off after the second or Third release but I could be wrong if They keep it Ultra limited it could stay Hyped forever who knows but at this Point I would love to know your thoughts On the upcoming Jumpman Jacks and Whether you're planning to grab a pair For yourself on April 30th when they Officially released for $200 let me know Those thoughts in the comment section Down below also let me know if you like This new setup is it something you guys
